h my God! Look how the people offend me! They have my face on the imperial Chinese robe!
They have neither consult or inform me in advance.’ the dragon said, ‘Calm down, my majesty.’
the snake said. ‘I must express my discontent. I can’t bear it anymore. It’s humiliating!’ the
dragon said angrily. ‘Hey, organize a press conference to declare that I have the exclusive right
with my face. They can’t infringe my right.’

I was Ken who has worked for the Dragon before. The dragon, which was the King of the World, was
arrogant and selfish. He was rude to all people. He looked down upon the others. He liked to punish us without
reasons as so to show his authority power.
O
In the past, I did want to leave this place. However, I couldn’t quit my job because I had signed the contract
with the dragon. I couldn’t leave this place until I was 60 years old. Yet, I was only 18 years old at that time. If I
had left, I would need to pay a lot of money. Besides, the snake was a bootlicker. He flattered the dragon all the
time.
Anyway, my fate had changed. By the way I needed to thank the reporter, Kelly, who dared to argue with
the dragon. I was going to trace back the history of the Great Wall to the year of 1468.
That day was the press conference of the dragon. ‘I am really angry with the people who always have my
face on their products without my permission.’ the dragon said. ‘Mr. Dragon, don’t you think that we have your
face on our products because we respect you? You used to be our idol…’ Kelly asked. ‘I don’t think so. It should
be the other way round. If you respect me, you have to seek my consent beforehand, right?’ the dragon replied.
Because you are in the sky where we can’t reach. It is hard to make contact with you. ’ Kelly answered. ‘But
why didn’t you email me?’ The dragon asked her in reply. ‘It is because there is no email system in the sky.’
Kelly answered. ‘Stop retorting against me!’ the dragon yelled at Kelly impatiently.
The next day, the argument continued. ‘I create the world for you humans, but you do not show me any
gratitude. Instead, I am blamed!” “You are really selfish and arrogant. It is our traditional virtue to be humble.
Yet, you don’t consider the others. You never hear others’ opinion. You just live in your world.” Kelly said.
What did you say? I am the King of the world. You ought to respect me.’ The dragon retorted. “It’s silly for you
to kill me even you hate me. You are the King who should safeguard and help us. Please end the civil war in
China and let us peace. You may stop the war by persuading the two camps face-to-face.’ Kelly answered. ‘It
won’t work. Neither camps will listen to me because you don’t respect me. I have an idea…I may help the
Chinese people by building a long and great wall which will separate the two camps and stop the fighting.”
The dragon had worked on the great creation by himself for three years. It really worked. The civil war
came to an end.
People living in both sides of the wall sang the triumphant song for the dragon. Everyone was thrilled. The
anger of dragon was gone because of the praise of the people. In order to express people’s gratitude of creating
such a fascinating wonder, people put the dragon to one of the Chinese zodiac. They also named themselves as
the Descendants of Dragon.
